Skin
infections begin in the live tissue under
the surface of the skin. The infection
grows rapidly there and soon emerges through
the skin surface as an ugly sore - one
that can last for weeks. Topical
ointments can't reach these infections
because they are growing under the
protective skin.
The key is to stop these infections
under the skin BEFORE they can break out
into open sores.

Most sinus infections, throat infections and colds originate from
airborne virus and bacteria that lodge in the
warm, moist mucous membranes of the nasal and
sinus passages. They form in colonies there that
can double in size every 20 minutes! This infection soon
develops into a severe cold. If the
infection is not terminated the delicate sinus
membranes may become completely inflamed in a painful
condition known as sinusitis.
The body attempts to wash the infection away
by secreting large amounts of mucosal fluid. Some of this
infected fluid is inhaled into the lower respiratory tract.
If the infection is not terminated a simple head cold soon develops into
a chest cold or bronchitis.
To stop this vicious cycle it is important to
terminate the infection when it is just starting
to colonize on your mucous membrane or to prevent
it from colonizing in the first place.
